Ilmington

Ilmington House is your new Children's Centre located in the centre of Darlaston, overlooking the Linear Walk. The renovation of the building cost a total of £1.5 million; funded by Government and European funding (ERDF).
Ilmington House has been completely transformed from an old red brick building into a Children's Centre which combines a historical Darlaston building with a new modern facility suited to hosting lively creche, fun and innovative community activities with space for a quiet, private chat if you need to offload.
The building offers something for everyone and is the perfect setting for the range of services Sure Start Darlaston provides.
We have:

• a training room equipped with PCs and Macs; perfect for gaining new skills
• an activity rom designed to be a safe and comfortable setting for play activites, meetings and training alike
• a healthy food community cafe
• a training kitchen where families can learn cooking and catering skills
• two beautifully designed creche rooms offering childcare for a total of 36 children
• A health room with facilities for baby change, baby weigh and much more
• An outdoor space which is currently being transformed by our community artist into an exciting and inspiring area for families to explore
